Hello everyone,

Thank You to all of you who come here to read.

On December 6th my Dad passed away peacefully, (after several small strokes and falls); for 4 months he'd been in the exemplary care of the Hospice Home (in Kelowna B.C.) on the other side of Canada from where George and I live. He was deaf, no longer able to walk nor speak easily, but he never lost his sharp wit or his endearing sense of humor. He was just shy of his 96th birthday coming up in January.

Two days later our 21-year-old cat Min had a stroke that paralyzed her hind legs. She was blind, and deaf (and I've not missed a single night in 3 years of giving her medication for kidney problems).

On December 12th at the same time as the Memorial Service for my Father was being held across the country in the beautiful Okanagan Valley where he lived for more than 80 years, we buried our Min under the pine trees here on our property where she has lived with us for more than 18 years.

In a note from a friend, one of the lines says, (from my own view, meaning Self-and-self), "...doesn't throw us away just because we aren't perfect, have problems or challenges; but brings into our lives those who will help us when we are in need..."

If ever the truths of Speaker Material have helped in our lives it has been through these last 3 weeks. Only our trust in the Psychic-Spiritual Nature of Self-and-self has allowed us to be open to life's natural refolding as these private events and experiences.

So, as this futuristic sounding New Year of 2010 draws open the curtain on a new stage as a new beginning and we wish each of you here a Happy New Year, it is more than simply a matter of symbolism and common expression.

Within our wishes is furled a deep hope for each of us, as the human in humanity, that we may learn the true value of each life (including our own), as important to the path of this world's existence. It all counts - each moment that we add-up to a lifetime; it all matters and it all bears witness to the magic and influence that is each life and all life, as the Self-and self psychic-spiritual nature of All That Is.

Our greatest wish is that each of us and all of us learn and discover life's sacred value while we can use it to make our present days the promise and the gift of an enriched, meaningful, infinite future.

I have been "listening" as our little corner of this universe shifts on its axis: and I am privileged to have heard this:


I know two souls, whose learning true
broke the bonds of worldly due
and up into the night they flew
when Love's last grace had carried through
its promise
to unite in Peace, and grant them both their right release
from all that earthly life imposed
that held them both - then let them go;
They cannot say - but yet I know, they've gone from here -
this door has closed.


Please remember to be kinder than you need to be to everyone you meet - for we are each coping with our own problems, learning our own lessons.
